Gilberto "Beto" García Jr.

Gilberto (Beto) Garcia Jr. is a distinguished entrepreneur, physician, and business leader with a diverse track record spanning healthcare, energy, and commodities. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Beto earned his degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1993 and went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 2000.

He began his professional career in public service as the Medical Services Head for the city of China, Nuevo León, Mexico, where he oversaw healthcare delivery for a growing community. In 2005, his entrepreneurial drive led to the founding of St. Anthony’s Home Healthcare Services, a Medicare-certified agency that continues to serve patients today. He later expanded into innovative healthcare solutions with the creation of Guardian eHealth Solutions, a pioneer in remote patient monitoring for chronically ill patients, followed by the development of St. Anthony’s Hospice to further support patient care across the continuum.

In 2022, Beto entered the Value-Based Medicine space, facilitating the valuation and acquisition of family and internal medicine practices across Texas—bringing strategic alignment between physicians and healthcare organizations.

Today, as a serial entrepreneur, Beto has shifted his primary focus into the energy and commodities sectors. He is the founder of Third Coast Energy Advisors, a firm specializing in sourcing fuel buyers and supporting the export of refined petroleum products and crude into Mexico. Through his work with Flagship Resources, he is actively involved in the commodities space, including the supply of Magdalite® (asphaltite) for drilling mud applications in the oil and gas industry, as well as lime and lime stabilization services for large-scale civil and highway construction projects.

In addition to his business accomplishments, Beto is also an author, having co-authored the novel Ghost of the Rio Grande, reflecting both his cultural roots and creative pursuits.

With a unique combination of clinical expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and operational experience across multiple industries, Beto Garcia continues to build and lead ventures that deliver value, innovation, and long-term impact.
